Named by the great Jules Hardouin-Mansart (1646 – 1708), one of the greatest architects that France ever had, Hotel Mansart is located at the very corner of his most celebrated creation – the legendary Place Vendôme. Just few steps away from the Vendôme Column, leaning its back to the recently revamped Ritz, Hotel Mansart is a quiet place with stunning views and remarkable service, a place where you can enjoy your own piece of historical Paris without paying a full price ticket. By staying at this chic Parisian hotel and you will be dangerously close to the most exclusive stores- Bulgari in the same building as Hotel Mansart, Chanel on the nearby rue Cambon, Piaget, Rolex, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Dior Jewellery, Louis Vuitton jewellery store and finally rue Saint Honore!
Owned by the Esprit de France collection, Hotel Mansart perfectly represents values of this French hospitality group: prime locations in the best parts of Paris, historic buildings renovated while preserving the site, sophisticated and tailor-made service and unique rooms with attention to detail. Add to that a charming atmosphere and friendly and welcoming staff and you will understand why Hotel Mansart became one of the places that we hold very dear.
The interior of Hotel Mansart is typically Parisian- at the same time luxurious and vintage. This is a four-star hotel, so one may be thinking that luxury is kind of mandatory, but nevertheless we must say that Mansart exceeded our expectations. Our Vendôme room was really beautiful and spacious with high ceiling. It is decorated with antique furniture and royal blue chairs that give very Parisian feel, the dominant color is beige, and textile décor of brick red is so subtle and sophisticated that only accentuate vintage design. We were mesmerized with a spectacular view over Place Vendôme and rue de la Paix that powerfully gripped our attention and simply didn’t let it go during our stay. We were spending evenings in the hotel because our view was one of the best in Paris and we didn’t feel a need to go out. Just a glass of wine and French music as a finishing touch to already splendid night.

Each of Mansart‘s 57 rooms is individually decorated with antique furniture, authentic works of art and carefully selected fabrics. There are four room categories in the hotel: from the basic Classic Cozy rooms, larger Capucines and Terrace rooms, and all the way up to the Deluxe and Vendôme rooms and Junior suites. All rooms, except maybe the basic category, are exceptionally spacious and boast the similar décor that will find its admirers among the French bourgeois-style aficionados. We recommend Junior Suite and Vendome Deluxe room for a romantic stay like honeymoon or anniversary.

Hotel Mansart’s art collection is almost worthy of booking itself! It presents a unique opportunity to all the hotel’s guests to enjoy in approximately 120 artworks, mostly period paintings and engravings, along with sculptures and furniture. An homage to the hotel’s namesake architect, the portrait of Jules Hardouin-Mansart proudly hangs in the breakfast room as an everlasting reminder of that creative genius and his enormous legacy. Only exception in this collection of period works is a sculpture “Spirit of France”, work of the renowned sculptor Georges Jeanclos, made especially for the Esprit de France hotel group.
