Miss Sophie’s hotel is a place located in the 19 – century renovated building in Prague’s New Town. The design is artistically composed by the famous Czech architect Olga Novotná with a keen eye for the finer details. During the Fashion Week in Prague we get the chance to stay in this smart, stylish and new kind of hotel for today’s traveler.
From the moment we step into the lobby we noticed interesting retro design with a very hip and unique vibe, which makes it quite special and warm. There is also a slight influence of Scandinavian design, but always with a retro twist. That is the creative direction we love seeing in the design of the new boutique hotels. In the lobby you may recognize it in a minimal place with a dominant wall and details painted in yellow. This hotel will make you feel cozy and amused by interesting artwork done by Czech designer Zora Mazáčová.
There are three room types in the Miss Sophie’s hotel – from the basic double ensuite, to the more exclusive – twin ensuite and triple ensuite. Staying in one of the Miss Sophie’s rooms will take you back in time because of its retro design, details on the ceiling and the lightening, but you will also not miss any modern equipment and comfort. The hotel has been awarded with a Certificate of Excellence this year.
While staying at the Miss Sophie’s hotel we highly recommend to start your day with delicious breakfast or brunch served in the restaurant in a building across the street where Miss Sophie’s hostel is located. The variety of tastes, atmosphere and very pleasant staff will put you in a positive mood and make you feel ready for the day of discovering this lovely city.
