A 5-Star luxury hotel, Renaissance Arc de Triomphe is situated in the 17th arrondissement, in the very heart of Paris. The hotel provokes the guests’ sense of discovery. The most important landmarks are in a walking distance, the hotel is just steps from the Arc de Triomphe and 600 meters away from the Champs-Elysées Avenue, which makes it an ideal place to stay.
The Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe was designed by famous French architect Christian de Portzamparc, in the shape of a wave in motion. The building itself is an architectural work of art and from the outside, it is reminiscent of the famous La Pedrera, one of the most famous buildings of Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona, with its wavy curves facade. Built on the site of the famous Theatre de l’empire, the hotel was causing a buzz in Paris design circles, from its opening.

The 118-room hotel offers contemporary and comfortable guest rooms. Spacious modern rooms and suites pours attention on every frame, detail and composition, relying on the power and potency of color-such as in vivid shades of grey and fuchsia – this design dances between the modern and the clean minimal style. The overall style is luxurious without a doubt, but in a subdued and unpretentious way. The hotel has fantastic selection of 22 suites with a breathtaking view. Top floor suites have breathtaking terrace-views on the entire city and all-around feel of spaciousness and quality. The Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe is the only hotel in Paris that has a view of the Arc de Triomphe, Sacré Coeur, and the Eiffel Tower. We stayed in the elegant 38 sqm Paris Sky View suite with a beautiful large terrace, located on hotel’s 7th floor. It was surreal to sit outside, and see the strobe light of the Eiffel Tower circle the night sky while drinking champagne.

Arc de Triomphe suites and Surabaya suites are even more spacious- 43, 47 and generous 62 sqm.

When it comes to dining, hotel’s pride and joy is its Makassar Lounge & Restaurant. This very cool and hip restaurant combines the exotic with the familiar, blending French Provence bistro flavors with authentic Indonesian dishes, such as Be Pasih Mepanggang (marinated and grilled sword fish, sweet potato with shallots), Satau Ayam (brochette of marinated chicken, yellow rice) and Gendag Mekuah (papaya soup, gambas, mussels and spices). The Sulawesi chef’s table is an intimate private dining space.
