One of our favorite places in the City of Lights, that always feels like home to us is recently renovated MonHotel Lounge & Spa. This luxurious boutique hotel can easily become your Parisian haven in the most prestigious neighborhood. Just as we remember it from our last visit, MonHotel has such a homely air which invites you to to move in. This hotel’s design perfectly reflects impeccable style and taste, and even more than that.
Due to its fantastic location MonHotel Lounge & Spa is definitely a perfect place for all the city explorers. Arc de Triomphe is only meters away, and famous Golden Triangle is also in a walking distance, as is the prestigious Foch Avenue. Situated in elegant Rue d’Argentine, just few steps from grandiose Avenue de la Grande Armee and in the heart of Parisian central 16th arrondissement, MonHotel Lounge & Spa is now even more capable of captivating that ephemeral Parisian spirit that we all are searching for. This is a very fashionable place, and not only because of that fantastic portrait of Kate Moss in the hotel’s dining room. Its stylish design is now even more mature in its execution. This four-star property could be easily mistaken for a five-star, which is why we can only applaud to Aurelia Santoni and her romantic vision. This talented designer created a hotel that is undoubtedly very modern, with touches of old bourgeois chic that we adore and like to come back to.
“When I discovered this amazing building, made from cut stone, with its wrought iron balconies and its bronze plaque unveiled by the President of Argentina when he passed through Paris, I immediately got the idea of keeping the Bourgeois and chic side of the Foch Avenue. It would be comfortable and opulent-looking and adding a modern and contemporary designer touch to the interior decoration,” Aurelia Santoni explained her vision.
Santoni’s love for details is visible literally everywhere, from Véronèse and Moooï chandeliers, to the interesting tables from Fabio Novembre and Aino Alto. The quality of the materials inside MonHotel Lounge & Spa is amazing, with floors made of the Canadian wood and bathrooms wrapped in a quality marble.
There are several room types in MonHotel Lounge & Spa- basic Premium, more exclusive Superior, Executive and Balcony rooms, with great views on the Parisian most elegant Foch Avenue. They are all created with same attention to details. Their design is flawlessly rich, with leather headboards, walls wrapped in Alcantara and beautiful chocolate brown fabrics. This time, our home for the couple of days was very spacious and tremendously chic Executive room, a largest room in the hotel if we exclude Suite Argentine. We enjoyed it with every fiber.
MonHotel Lounge & Spa’s restaurant, Le Daniel’s, is famous for its clever combination of exotic tastes from both European and Asian cuisine. We can wholeheartedly recommend its trademark tapas that we especially enjoyed during our stay. But, despite wonderful food offering, it’s the atmosphere of Le Daniel’s that simply invites you to a romantic dinner with someone special.

MonHotel Lounge & Spa boasts a truly wonderful spa center that can be used only by hotel’s guests, with massage room, hammam, and well equipped fitness room that we, being a fitness aficionados, used every day. The hotel offers a wide range of essential oils and fragrances for personalizing steam room sessions.
Our last piece of advice? While You are there make sure to explore beautiful Avenue Foch in charming 16th arrondissement and Fondation Louis Vuitton.
