We recently took a fantastic culinary journey to Paris at La Chinoiserie, the main restaurant of the Hyatt Paris Madeleine, located on the fashionable boulevard Malesherbes. La Chinoiserie proudly presents a new culinary scheme, made by its creative Chef Patrick Charvet.

It’s easy to say that Patrick Charvet learned from the best. The most prominent Chefs of today, a names like Guy Martin, Pierre Gagnaire, Michel Trois Gros and Daniel Boulud worked with him in such vivid places like Marakech, Salvador de Bahia, Tokyo, Hong Kong among many, which explains the roots of his inspirational cooking. When Patrick Charvet returned to France, at first he started working at the prestigious Park Hyatt Paris Vendome, along another star Chef Jean-François Rouquette, before being nominated to head the Hyatt Paris Madeleine cuisine offering, that includes both the Café M and the restaurant La Chinoiserie.

We started our experience with a glass of champagne, celebrating the fact we finally made it here and then began our dining experience. What we found the most interesting was Gourmet menu. It contained five different meals and all were deliciously prepared. Our dinner started with appetizer, raw and cooked tomatoes with unfiltered Nino’s olive oil. After that, it was time for starter, that included toasted brown bread with shellfish and smoked seaweed butter.
As expected, the main courses were really something special, and in this case, it contained two fantastic dishes. It is nearly impossible to decide which one was more impressive – Anglerfish with purple artichokes, sweet olives, garden’s reduction or the roasted milk fed lamb, firenze eggplants, mint and cardamone.
We finished our journey to culinary heaven with a tasty dessert. A strawberries soup, mascarpone and rhubarb was really the icing on the cake and a perfect end of this wonderful dining experience.
