Paris during the fashion week – the effortless style and elegance of the people, the charming cobbled streets, perfectly manicured parks, brasseries and our Parisian home- MonHotel. When we think of Paris one of the first places that come to our mind is MonHotel. We stayed there so many times that for us it is not just a hotel, we could say that we have a past and so many memories that lead to some precious moments lived there. This is the place approved by the fashion industry, and if you still haven’t discovered MonHotel here are the major reasons why you should and why we love it so much.
Working area at MonHotel
The prestigious 16th arrondissement where this precious hotel is located, is to Paris what the Upper East Side is to New York – a very affluent, chic and well-known section of town. MonHotel is a just a short stroll from the iconic Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées but for us it means a lot that is close to Avenue Foch and beautiful brasserie La Belle Poule where we like to sit for hours drinking wine and admiring beautiful architecture of Avenue Hoch and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Also, it is very near famous club L’Arc, which interior is designed by Lenny Kravitz. So for us MonHotel was a perfect base from which we could visit all the fashion week after parties. The location is ideal for visiting the various monuments of Paris, as well as for shopping.
MonHotel is located 200 meters from Arc de Triomphe
The hotel is housed in a traditional French townhouse in the grand Haussmann style that fuses the opulent elegance of old Paris with the striking contemporary design.

Interior of the hotel has a pretty cool vibe and modern design with a influence of POP art and rock’n’roll culture. The 50 bedrooms – dreamed up by interior designer Aurelia Santoni- are very elegant, with beige Alcantara walls, adorned with silver-framed portraits of legendary actors, models and singers, and accented with clever lightning. Marilyn Monroe, Kate Moss, Madonna, Mick Jagger, George Clooney, Sting and Steve McQueen are just some of the faces that make this ambient so charming. Light interior is contrasted with dark carpets and furniture. Each bedroom has a marble bathroom and all the amenities you could possibly need. We would recommend to go for one of the bigger rooms with balconies and baths instead of showers.
The atmosphere of the hotel will seduce you. All is perfectly quiet here and this is a moment to cherish. Only when you fling and open the windows of your room in the early evening and watch people passing by from a little balcony you may hear the sweet clamor of the streets radiating from the elegant Rue d’Argentine or nearby Avenue de la Grande Armée and Avenue Foch.
Waking up here and later having breakfast in their lounge bar Le Daniel’s gives you relaxed and peaceful feeling, especially because of its darker interior. You begin a new day with ease, ready for a daily dose of necessary city-exploring. We recommend cocktails and tapas here after a day of classic Parisian sightseeing.

The atmosphere in Le Daniel’s is both cozy and romantic and truly inviting for couples. Enjoy your night while drinking a glass of quality wine or champagne.
MonHotel have a gym and a new spa that is absolutely perfect for relaxation. You can take the edge off sore sightseeing soles in the 24/7 hammam, followed up with a divine massage and a signature cocktail or glass of champagne in the elegant lounge bar.
Tip for fashionistas: Fondation Louis Vuitton is in a walking distance from MonHotel Paris, like basically everything else. Dedicated to contemporary art exhibitions, this monumental place is created at the initiative of Bernard Arnault and officially opened in 2014. With a design by the Pritzker Prize-winning architect Frank Gehry, one of the most influential figures in modern architecture, Fondation’s building in some way emulates the setting of the Jardin d’Acclimatation, evoking the tradition of 19th-century glass gardens. The Fondation Louis Vuitton continues to support French and international contemporary artistic creation, while making it accessible to as many people as possible.
We would like to thank MonHotel’s General manager, Elsa Biscaut, for a very warm welcome. It was simply unforgettable.
