If you are in search for a romantic getaway in The city of lights this is the perfect hotel to stay. The atmosphere of La Villa Haussmann will seduce you, it is intimate and very relaxing with one of the most romantic views, especially at night. This hotel is a truly Parisian place situated in the center of vibrant, ever-pulsating arteries of the city, legendary Haussmann Boulevard. The location is ideal for visiting the various monuments of Paris as well as for shopping considering it is just steps away from the Printemps and Galeries Lafayette department stores.
We had an opportunity to visit this elegant hotel during the busiest time of the year, that being Paris Fashion Week, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were charmed by combination of the history and modernity, Haussmann style architecture and lavish interiors. Every detail suggests that this is the realization of an ideal French hotel, but opposed to traditionally French it is very fashion-forward. Design of the hotel includes the Napoleon III- style interior and you cannot but to feel the vibes of the Second French Empire around you, making the whole stay such a transcendent experience. One more interesting fact is that La Villa Haussmann overlooks the statue of Baron Haussmann. He was a prefect of the Seine Department of France chosen by Emperor Napoleon III to carry out a massive urban renewal program. Haussmann is responsible for Paris’s much-loved aesthetic. Thanks to his plans, Paris looks the way it does today with buildings required to remain the same height and to have the same, uniformed style. La Villa Haussmann pays tribute to this personage, who left his mark on the history of Paris.

La Villa Haussmann comprises 43 rooms in total, including three Junior suites and two Grand Suites. All rooms are designed in a similar manner: fashionable, with light colors used for the interior furnishing and a large windows that provide not only the amazing views, but also the much needed natural light. Touches of luxury are evident on literally every step, including the bed headboards wrapped in Damascus silk that only punctuate already posh atmosphere. Of course, the rooms are completely soundproof thanks to the great isolation and double windows that keeps you tucked inside your silent Parisian haven.
Suites, named Octavie (37 sqm) and Eugénie (45 sqm) are located at the prow of the building, with windows overlooking Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Opéra Garnier, and the domes of the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores.

Our Deluxe room was the highlight of our stay, because it looked over the always busy Haussmann Boulevard, which gave us the everyday glimpse in the lives of the ordinary Parisians. Being in the room with view like that makes you feel even more Parisian than you already do and definitely puts you in a specific state of mind, where you simply never can get enough. Of Paris, of course, but of La Villa Haussmann as well.
At the very heart of Paris, La Villa Haussmann’s N3 is an elegant restaurant and bar with a beautiful terrace that makes you feel the vibes of the trendiest arrondissement of them all, the chic 8th. The N3 offers an imaginative lunch menu based primarily on French cuisine. In the evening, N3 becomes a fancy bar that vibrates to the rhythms of the city. We suggest you to try some of the absolutely amazing cocktails made with old-fashioned spirits such as those that were favored during the Second French Empire.

After a busy day or a lazy weekend spent in visiting various important sites of the City of Lights, what can be better than relaxing in a beautiful spa? And La Villa Haussmann’s spa center is really a joy to see and visit. We spent fair amount of time by the hotel’s wonderful swimming pool, while occasionally testing our endurance in the endless swims back and forth. As a fitness aficionados, we found hotel’s gym very useful, not only because its modern Technogym equipment, but also for its bright and modern design that makes even hardest of exercises somehow easier to endure. La Villa Haussmann also comprises a hammam, always a welcome feat in any spa.

Like hotel’s motto says- “It is more than a hotel, it is an experience and all of Paris in a single place.” Totally enamored with La Vila Haussmann, we can only agree with that statement and wholeheartedly recommend this place to all the lovers of the more romantic, historical Paris.
