The Hôtel de Sers is a 5-star boutique hotel in Paris in the heart of the Golden Triangle. Away from the spotlights of the Champs Elysées, the Hôtel de Sers is a discrete witness to the splendours of the 19th century Paris. Built in 1994 in a modern, design style, this hotel features typical Parisian interior design work and a collection of paintings from the 19th century.
Today, Hôtel de Sers has 45 rooms, four junior suites, three large suites with terraces that overlook all of the splendor of Paris, and one 80-square-meter apartment. The original building was a four-storey mansion designed by architect Jules Pellechet in 1880 for Henri-Leopold Charles, the Marquis de Sers.
In the early 1900s, the building served as a medical facility and gained four more floors and a six-storey attachment. It has been a hotel since 1935. In 1999, the Vidalenc family took over the building that was then known as Hôtel le Queen Elizabeth, and the family’s younger son, Thibault Vidalenc, became the general manager. He engaged his cousin, recently graduated architect Thomas Vidalenc, and together the two began the 11 million Euro transformation of the old mansion into the chic and desirable Hôtel de Sers. In June 2010, a French family-run hotel group, the Bessé Signature group acquired the Hôtel de Sers.
The hotel features a cozy yet trendy bar lounge, S’Bar, and patio terrace, as well as a restaurant.
The S’Bar will welcome you in a sophisticated and trendy decor to savour a large variety of cocktails. The wood-clad, candlelit S’Bar becomes a magnet for a glamorous young crowd at cocktail hour.
A sophisticated portrait gallery will lead you to the hotels ‘de Sers’ restaurant which is a truly elegant space boasting white furniture, modern art and feels light cool and airy. Under the leadership of chef Jordan Delamotte, the restaurant offers modern French cuisine using carefully selected products. Make sure that you don’t miss the 100% organic brunch served every Sunday where you can feast on a vast selection of fresh in-season produce including fabulous croissants, salads, oysters, smoked salmon, charcuterie and more.
Suites at Hotel de Sers offer sweeping views of the city’s rooftops and iconic monuments, including the Eiffel Tower and Sacré Coeur. Try spending a night in one of the Panoramic Suites, with their outdoor terraces and stunning city views with almost gratuitous look at the Eiffel Tower, and ask yourself what more you could want.
