Perfectly located close to the Municipal House and the Powder Tower, Grand Hotel Bohemia was opened on February 25th 1927, by experienced hotelier Mr. Josef Steiner. This beautiful hotel was the perfect meeting spot for Prague´s high society in the 1920s and 1930s. Executive rooms are even more spacious (up to 29 m2), but their biggest assets are the breathtaking views over the rooftops of the Old Town quarter of Prague. Junior Suites are very spacious (up to 37 sqm) and furnished with a sofa bed. These suites are located on the three highest floors of the hotel and provide a wonderful view of Týn church and Prague Castle panorama over the rooftops of the Old Town quarter.
If you want to enjoy the most amazing view over the Old Town Prague you may choose one of the two best suites in Grand Hotel Bohemia. Bohemia Suite, located on 6th floor, is very spacious (42 sqm) and offers a beautiful view through a big french window over the rooftops of the Old Town houses and the Týn church. Additionally to the two separate rooms it also offers a private terrace. Steiner Suite is largest and arguably the finest room in this hotel. It is located on the 8th floor of the building and one of its superior advantages is a beautiful view of Prague’s historic center – The Old Town, Týn Church and Prague Castle will all seem within reach. Hotel’s Franz Josef restaurant, with its creative chef Michal Čermák, will surprise you with wide selection of specialties based on traditional recipes from the Central Europe and for a quick drink or a snack – there is a hotel’s cafe bar, with its impressive wine selection. It is one of the mythical places in Prague where the great parties and shows with dinner were regularly held until the beginning of the communism era.

Grand Hotel Bohemia is also well known for its impressive conference hall furnished in neo-baroque style and adequately named Boccaccio ballroom, which became a perfect venue for various events, from business, to weddings. Historically protected ballroom is a breath-taking beauty and a masterpiece of artificial marble, gold and crystal glass. Boccaccio was a famous meeting place for prominent personalities in the times of The First Republic.
While you are in Prague visit amazing Mozart concert in the Boccaccio ballroom. Musical ensemble, Amadeus Prague, is formed by two opera singers from Czech Opera Houses and instrumentalists from the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, brilliant Salzburg Chamber Soloists etc., who perform their art dressed in period costumes.
