The Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2011 womenswear collection, designed by Christopher Bailey, was inspired by the biker culture. The famous Burberry trench-coat was subverted into a cropped “biker” jacket, in python and studded leather, and worn with skin-tight moto-cross ‘leathers’, with quilted and reinforced panels.

This spring and summer, we will definitely see a lot of military inspired apparel, funky leopard and snake skin prints, and luscious leathers. Leather pants, and leggings, and short dresses, are just some of the many fall trends that will continue into spring and summer.
