At the last Belgrade Fashion Week new designer Ljuba Sikimic blew public away with her very first collection named Intensity, inspired by elements of Spanish culture and their tradition. Ljuba presented models marked by high and sophisticated elegance that haven’t been seen for some time on fashion runway in Belgrade.
The collection possesses striking female models and extraordinary elegance. Young designer revived details of the former style of dressing with her contemporary vision of femininity.
Collection stresses black and white colors, and the materials she uses most are leather, lace and silk. All models in a subtle, but slightly seductive way, pronounced shoulders and high waist emphasize the female figure.
Models are decorated with details that make them very original, and accompanied by a remarkable collection of silver jewelry studded with pearls and Swarovski crystals.

About the designer
Ljuba Sikimic graduated stage and contemporary costume from the Academy of Fine Arts, and master’s degree in fashion design in Milan she gained at the Institute of European design (Instituto Europeo di Design). One of the most important professional experiences at university in Milan is undoubtedly the work on the final project under the mentorship of the famous Anna Dello Russo, chief editor of Japanese Vogue.
Ljuba Sikimic is the brand owner and the eponymous fashion studio Railway. She also designed the interior of the studio that was opened three weeks ago. You may visit it at 19 – Kneza Miloša Str., Belgrade. All the models of the latest collection are located there.
Fashionela is a fashion portal dedicated to fashion and fashion industry whose creator is Vesna Filipovic. As a big fashion enthusiast, she came up with the idea to start the online version of the fashion magazine with the aim of informing about world fashion trends and promoting Serbian fashion designers.
